Glenn's custom architectural metal
work includes: stainless steel and copper countertops and range hoods, artistic
/ sculpted interior and exterior railing, custom metal furniture, chasing,
reposé, and metal sculpture. Hand formed shapes are a specialty. Some examples
of Glenn's sculpture can be found at the Evergreen Art Center, and in the Evergreen Sculpture Walk.

Colorado Ski Chair Company was created by Colorado sculptor and metal fabricator
Glenn Vogel of Got Metal. The inspiration for these plush seating arrangements
however, came from Glenn’s daughter. While Glenn was snowboarding with his
daughter Tessa Marie, the lift that they were riding came to a sudden stop, and
the chair that they were sitting on continued to swing. Tessa turned to her dad
and said “wouldn’t it be cool to have a swing like this in our home instead of a
sofa?” Less than a year later, the first two chairs became a reality, swinging
from the great room ceiling of the family’s new home in Evergreen, Colorado.

HGTV's "Extreme Building"
In 2008, Glenn’s primary
residence in Evergreen Colorado aired as episode 110 (Metal House) on HGTV’s new
prime time series “Extreme Living”. To see the program, just check HGTV’s
website for air dates and times. One of the key elements featured on the show
was the commercially equipped kitchen. The kitchen features a 66” Island vent
hood to cover the 165,000 BTU Imperial natural gas range. The vent hood has
acted as a research and development for several different models, first
fabricated from Stainless Steel, later Titanium, and most recently, Copper. For
